Regional Physicians Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a physician practice that specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. What Does Physiatry Mean To You?
Physiatrists, or Rehabilitation Doctors, are physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating the non-surgical orthopaedic conditions and certain neurological disorders. Their medical training consists of four years of medical school followed by a four year residency in rehabilitation medicine.

A Physiatrist takes a comprehensive approach to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate a patient back to their maximum functioning level. These individualized treatment plans are specific to the patient’s daily activity, work or sport.
